Position Overview

AirEx is seeking an Operations Manager, primarily responsible for working with our growing network of installers and end users of our product. This role involves coordinating with various internal departments and external partners to ensure customers are able to successfully install our products and benefit from them fully. It will also involve supporting the operations team more widely across a range of activities. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organisation skills, a background in retrofit, and the ability to drive continuous improvement. They must be passionate about AirEx's mission to combat fuel poverty and climate change and will have a demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships in a fast-paced, innovative environment.


Installer onboarding and management

  • Managing and continuously improving AirEx’s training systems and processes to
    enable our customers to successfully install our products

  • Developing reporting to enable targeted feedback to be sent to partners to drive
    improvements

  • Providing support and advice to existing and potential customers about how to
    incorporate AirEx products in PAS 2035 retrofit projects


Customer service

  • Developing materials to help the end users of our product make the most of the AirEx system

  • Providing direct support to customers


    Product development

  • Advocating for the needs of our installer partners and the end users of our products
    to help steer product development to meet their needs

  • Putting in place processes to enable installers and customers to be supported as our
    business scales

    Other

  • Managing trial programmes to measure the efficiency of new or improved products
    that are developed

  • Being a source of internal expertise and support for colleagues on the subjects of
    retrofit and fuel poverty
    Supporting the operations function and wider team as required


    Candidate Requirements

  • Experience in the UK energy efficient retrofit sector. A degree in a related field is a plus.

  • Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

  • Passion for AirEx's mission to combat fuel poverty and climate change.

  • Strong understanding of environmental sustainability and its integration into production management.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
